Adknowledge

As the sole designer supporting Adknowledge’s in-house marketing team, I partnered closely with the marketing manager, communications director, and web developer to shape the brand across all touchpoints. Working in a fast-paced environment where no two days were the same, I led design efforts for marketing collateral, trade show environments, social media campaigns, web design, and video production.

The role required a high level of autonomy, adaptability, and creative problem-solving—balancing strategic brand consistency with the speed and flexibility needed to support evolving marketing initiatives.

Adknowledge operated multiple channels, each specializing in different advertising technologies. This structure directly informed the website strategy. The primary Adknowledge homepage was designed as a central entry point, guiding users to channel-specific sites based on their interests and needs. Each channel site shared a consistent visual theme and design system to reinforce brand cohesion, while allowing flexibility to highlight the unique capabilities of each technology. The result was a scalable web experience that balanced clarity, usability, and brand consistency across a complex product ecosystem.

I developed a series of case studies for Adknowledge’s individual channels, each tailored to highlight the unique capabilities of their respective technologies. Each case study defined the client’s opportunity, detailed the strategies and executions that proved successful, and outlined key learnings along with future areas for exploration.

The format was designed to be both transparent and forward-looking, demonstrating real-world results while positioning each channel as a strategic partner focused on continuous optimization and growth.

In 2013, at the height of adtech’s rapid growth, Adknowledge prepared for a planned IPO and sought a bold way to engage investors, customers, partners, and media. To reflect the company’s boundary-pushing culture, we produced the first-ever private event hosted on Alcatraz, creating a one-of-a-kind experience guided by former prisoners and guards.

The event served as a powerful brand statement—memorable, unconventional, and aligned with Adknowledge’s appetite for innovation—leaving a lasting impression on attendees across the industry.
